The Glen

The Glen, Wilkinsons Road, Harewood, Christchurch

You may have been down Wilkinsons Road recently and noticed a new development near the crematorium called “The Glen”.  This is one of our most recent projects which has encompassed all of our skills as land development consultants.

This nine lot residential development fronting the Smacks Stream near the Harewood Crematorium was an interesting project due not only due to the planning peculiarities of this land but also the ground characteristics.  We had to contend with Conservation Zoning, construction adjacent to and under an environmental asset in the form of Smacks Stream and high ground water tables when installing drainage.

This project certainly required some lateral thinking and input from all involved, ranging from consultation, negotiation and design through to construction.
