New Gear
We’ve noticed that things are a bit busier lately, so we’ve been increasing our capacity for hard work by purchasing new equipment. The latest toys to arrive are:
A Trimble R10 GPS instrument.
This is the very latest in GPS technology, an improvement over our older GPS receivers because it’s smaller and yet able to maintain better satellite lock – and it comes with a tilt sensor which gives us better QA on our fieldwork.
A Trimble VX theodolite.
This is similar to our existing S6 theodolite, because it’s robotic and can operate reflector-less (without a prism), however it also has a scanning function which is great for checking structures for verticality.
A TSC3 datalogger.
This is the next iteration of the Trimble Survey Controller, and we’ve noticed that the field staff are liking this one.
And finally a new Van to put it all in.
We’ve found the Toyota Hi-Ace brilliant as it’s got heaps of room, and plenty of pep, so it was a no-brainer to purchase a new one.
So, as you can see we’re keeping our suppliers happy and we’re keen to put this new gear to work on your next project so give us a call.
