Like many medium density developments, this subdivision required careful consideration and preservation of the available space.


The Challenge

Not only was space limited, but the property was bordered by a natural boundary (stream) and was poorly defined due to old, inconsistent survey data.

The Solution

Boundaries and easements had to be carefully redefined to maximise every square metre and protect common walls, eaves and services. The shared driveway was designed to minimise construction costs while providing long-term structural integrity.
